Planning the photography for your wedding day is very important, and there are a number of factors to consider, so we hope these frequently asked questions give you some helpful advice

How soon before our wedding should we enquire or hire a photographer?

You should make an enquiry with us as soon as you decide on a wedding date and have booked your ceremony and/or reception venue. Couples have booked as early as one year before their wedding date. Keep in mind the Dry season months in Darwin are a very popular time for getting married and book out much earlier than the warmer months. We are at our busiest between late May through to August.

What is the advantage of hiring a professional wedding photographer?

As professional wedding photographer we take photographs for a living, and the difference between a professional set of wedding photographs and what a non-professional can take is simply miles apart. It's not just having a professional camera, it is years of experience and having developed an "eye" to capture the moments that pass in an instant. We have an intimate knowledge of out equipment and the procedures of a wedding day. It is also the post capture and processing work that we provide, as we as printing and album design that make a professional service an essential part of a wedding.

How does the pricing of packages work?

We offer simple wedding packages that cater to a range of tastes and budgets, and don't have any hidden costs. 

Start by assessing how much coverage you would like over the day (bride & grooms preparation, ceremony, location photos, cutting the cake, first dance, the reception)

All other choices and extras can be made or added at any time before or after the wedding. (for more information click on the Wedding packages tab)

We also offer prints, enlargements, albums and framed photographs. Contact us for a customized wedding package.

How do we book a date?

Sorry to say, we do not hold tentative bookings. We require a 50% booking fee and a confirmation email to act as a contract. We cannot confirm dates until we have both of these. Payments can made by bank transfer, cash or credit card. 

How soon after the wedding will our photos, prints or album be ready?

If you have ordered an Essential package your photos will be delivered within two weeks (this includes prints as well) 

If you have ordered an Album we will need to meet after the wedding and make a selection of the photos that you wold like in your album. Next we will design, layout the pages and send them off to the printers. It then takes 6 to 8 weeks to be printed, bound and delivered.

What do you mean by high-res images supplied.

We provide you with a DVD that has all the images shot at your wedding both in 300 dpi jpg photos which you can use to print high quality photographs from and 72dpi jpg photos which are formatted to be used for face book, emails and websites.

All photographs are subject to copyright and can only be used for private use such as prints for yourself, family and friends. If a magazines or commercial enterprise is interested in using the photographs you will need to contact us so we can ensure the photos are formatted for the medium and enhanced to suit there prospective use. Because I want my work and you image to be displayed at the best possible quality - our reputation depends on it!

Do your prices include GST?

Yes

How far will you travel for a wedding?

We are based in Darwin but can travel almost anywhere for a wedding. That said, travel and/or accommodation costs will need to be established for wedding outside of Darwin.

When are you available for meetings?

We are flexible and can organize a time to meet and discuss the photography when best suites you.
